Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup flour
1 T. Kentucky bourbon (or 1 tsp. vanilla extract)
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 (9-inch) pie shell, partially baked

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar, then mix in eggs, flour, salt, and bourbon (or vanilla).

Fold in nuts and chocolate chips, and stir well.

Pour into the pie shell; bake for 30-40 minutes, until center is set.

Allow to cool, and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
