Mother Hart's Frozen Peach Dessert

(Serves 10-12)

6 T. butter
2 cups fine vanilla wafer crumbs 

Pat and press into oblong pan, 9"x13". Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

Cream together:
3/4 cup soft butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Blend in:
3 well-beaten eggs

Spread this mixture over the crumb crust.

Peel and slice 10 peaches, and sweeten with 1/4 cup sugar. Place over the butter mixture.

Soften a 3-ounce package of cream cheese. Whip 1 cup heavy cream and sweeten with 2-3 T. sugar. Add the cream cheese. Spread on the peaches. Freeze for several hours.

Remove from freezer about 1/2 an hour before serving.
